Today we were able to go to the English schools to invite them for a Cultural Night at the church. It will be an opportunity for them to practice their English and for us to share our faith and our culture with them.
We also went to a school where we handed out hygiene kits to the kids. Our interpreter Patrick taught them a silly song and had us all jumping around, singing, and having a great time with them. It was a lot of fun.
We were blessed today as well. We had run out of glucose testing strips and Juan Marcos, music pastor at the mother church, was able to find a pharmacy that had what we needed. When we got there, the strips wouldn´t register in my ‘English’ monitor. the man at the pharmacy offered to switch his monitor for ours at no cost. This will allow us to check the older people who are more at risk for diabetes.
God is truly providing for us and keeping us safe.
Take care and God Bless!
