This past 10 days has been amazing! It was a lot of hard work and we were on the go just about all of the time. While our work in Nova Friburgo is down, the work for the new mission and the mother church will be continuing on. I don’t know all of the nubers exactly, but there were more than 300 people that received Christ into their lives. AMEN!!!
On our last night in Nova Friburgo we went to the mother church for a final service. While Pastor DJ gave a message about having victory in Christ he asked those that had accepted Christ while we were there to come forward. As continued with his message, our bus driver, Guilherme, went forward to receive Christ. Pastor Tony and his family had been praying for him for a long time. This made our last night even more perfect.
We made a lot of friends while we were there. And there will be a lot to share with everyone here about our experiences. I think it will take a bit of time just to process it all.
I am glad to be back home safe. I thank God for guiding our team on this journey and for working through us to effect a big change in the Marie Theresa community.
